From Fort, we make our way to Pettah, Colombo’s heart of trade, renowned for its vibrant bazaars and lively atmosphere. Here, you’ll wander through a maze of bustling streets, discovering colorful shops, mosques, churches, the Old Railway Station, and diverse cultural symbols all housed in one of the most multi-ethnic districts in Colombo. Following this, we journey to Colombo’s Town Hall and Cinnamon Gardens, a residential zone filled with leafy avenues, colonial bungalows, and significant landmarks. We’ll stop at the Town Hall building and proceed to the Colombo National Museum, where Sri Lanka’s history is showcased through ancient artifacts, statues, and relics. The tour then explores notable sites such as the BMICH, Independence Square, and Seema Malaka, providing a glimpse into Colombo’s cultural and political evolution.

At midday, savor lunch at one of Colombo’s luxury five-star hotels, enjoying a relaxing meal with an array of local and international dishes. In the afternoon, we’ll drive through the modern district where the new Parliament is located before reaching Kelaniya Temple, one of the most important Buddhist temples in Sri Lanka. As the day winds down, we head toward Galle Face Green and conclude our exploration at the historic Galle Face Hotel.
