All nationalities require a visa to enter Sri Lanka. Visit www.eta.gov.lk to check visa exemptions and to apply for your Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA).
Your visa application must be submitted to the Ministry of Emigration and Immigration via the online ETA prior to departure.
This is a simple process and requires no additional documents. You must fill in the required information and once the visa is approved, you will be notified with an ETA approval within 24 hours. Please refer to the following document for the visa approval procedure:
